Introverted Thinking (Ti): As a core created specifically to formulate bad ideas Wheatly's logic has little or no basis in reality. His ramblings reflect this detachment from reality, stringing together ideas and "logical" facts that have little or no practical relation. All of his logic makes sense in a subjective sense, but only if you ignore obvious facts.
Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Wheatly is very sensitive to criticism. He throws a massive fit when GLaDOS calls him a moron and revels in the power he gains over Chell and GLaDOS when he takes over the facility. When he meets Chell and GLaDOS again he struggles pathetically to convince them that he isn't a moron by reading and listening to classical music. At first Wheatly stumbles over his own tactless comments, but later actively tries to make Chell feel bad by insulting her, ("Fatty...adopted!...adopted fatty!") He isn't very adept and his, "stinging comments" have little effect.
Introverted Sensing (Si): Wheatly is at first mostly satisfied with his lot in life. He does his job (badly), and doesn't question his superiors assertions that using his more independent functions will kill him. (which was false)
I don't mean to stereotype all ENTPs as idiots. Just this one.
Wow, actually that's pretty accurate. And I can see GLaDOS as an INTJ because that's my personality, except GLaDOS might have Te instead of Ti
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about GLaDOS. I think she could definitely be ENTJ. It's hard to tell with someone in her position.
ReplyDeleteINTJs always use Te over Ti. That's why they're INTJ. Perhaps I misunderstood you.
