Artemis Fowl: Mulch Diggums [ISTP]

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Mulch does things his own way. He almost always flies solo, avoiding any kind of authority or commitment if possible. He lives by his wits and enjoys it, seeing his crimes as not only adventures, but also puzzles to be solved. Mulch often cannibalizes equipment in order to get the job done and has a talent for tinkering. He has countless skills, ranging from lock-picking to piloting. He always has a snarky comment up his sleeve and loves to push peoples buttons, even taking a jab at Artemis himself every once in a while.

Extroverted Sensing (Se): Mulch has a thirst for adventure. Even when he is supposed to be lying low, he can't help but do a little thievery on the side...which of course ends up to be a lot of thievery. Mulch often complains about being put in danger by Artemis's plans, but a large part of him enjoys dangerous situations, especially ones were he can show off his skills. Mulch is a terrible kleptomaniac, unable to keep his hands of anything shiny, or better yet edible. He seizes opportunities as soon as he sees them. He acts on the spur of the moment in book one, making his escape with a large haul of gold and successfully faking his own death at the same time.

Introverted Intuition (Ni): Mulch pays attention to his instincts, and when he doesn't, he usually regrets it. He has a sense for when things are about to go wrong and often refers to the old dwarven wisdom "trust the hairs," as in "trust your gut feelings." He sizes people up quickly ("I bet that you would set the world on fire just to watch it burn"...yes she would) Mulch doesn't often think about future consequences, getting in trouble later on for ill advised thefts.

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Mulch hates anyone holding him responsible for anything. He usually has to be forced to cooperate. But despite his supposedly hardened criminal ways, Mulch goes out of his way to help others surprisingly often. Clearly he isn't always helpful only for selfish reasons, but he would never openly say that he cares for anyone but himself. Mulch's thieving actions stem from his sense of competition, when Julius Root dies, he goes mostly straight since the thrill of the chase is lessened without a worthy opponent.
