Artemis Fowl: Foaly [INTP]

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Foaly created almost every technological system the LEP has. He has to make everything his own, keeping his systems consistent only because he is the one who made them. He is constantly tinkering and inventing. He modifies everything to fit his tastes, never relying on anything made by others if he can help it. Although others may beg to differ, Foaly considers himself a funny guy, mouthing of with witty quips at every opportunity. He also subscribes to theories that Tes (Artemis, Holly and Root) scoff at. Like the fact that an aluminium foil hat will protect him from mind readers.

Extroverted Intuition (Ne): Foaly is an extremely creative mind who is a pioneer in the most advanced fairy science. He is constantly seeing new ways of improvement on his designs and others. He shows an almost childlike glee at the sheer awesomeness of his new gadgets, getting worked up by showing others their potential. He just can't help himself in the Paradizo estate, comparing is remote helmet control to a video game. (I should get bonus points for that!) Foaly catches on to Artemis's plans faster than most, making some (but not all) of the connections necessary to understand their devious convolutions.

Introverted Sensing (Si): While Foaly is at the forefront of various fields, he still doesn't update his own personal equipment. His car and computer keyboard are examples of this. Even though he invented a virtual keyboard he still uses the traditional model that he grew up with. Even though his Ne goes chasing after every other cool idea, he stays faithful to systems and processes that have worked for him in the past.

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Foaly always feels the need to establish his intelligence, eating up any praise he can get. He is very sensitive about Opal Koboi and her inventions, feeling upstaged when the LEP adopts her inventions over his. Foaly has no real established ethical code, making moral decisions based on the circumstances, not on his own framework. That being said, he always tries to do the right thing. Foaly often disregards borderline cases and grey areas like his biological robots which many considered unethical.
